Equipment Rental Policy

1. Purpose

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for hiring equipment from Tich Music, ensuring safe, fair, and responsible use of our audio, lighting, and event equipment.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all customers hiring equipment from Tich Music, including sound systems, DJ gear, lighting, and related event equipment.

3. Booking & Confirmation

  • All equipment hires must be booked in advance via our website, email, or phone.

  • A booking is confirmed only after receipt of a signed agreement and, where required, a deposit.

  • We reserve the right to decline bookings if equipment is unavailable or if terms cannot be met.

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment or deposit is required as specified in the booking agreement.

  • Payment methods include EFT, credit card, or other approved channels.

  • Equipment will only be released once payment conditions are met.

5. Equipment Collection, Delivery & On-Site Support

  • Customers may collect equipment from Tich Music premises or request delivery (charges may apply).

  • Equipment must be returned by the agreed date and time. Late returns may incur additional fees.

  • A Tich Music representative or technician will attend all hired events to set up, operate, and supervise equipment, ensuring proper functioning throughout the event.

6. Use of Equipment

  • Equipment must be used according to manufacturer instructions and for the agreed purpose only.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring safe handling of equipment during transport, setup, and use.

  • Unauthorized modification or repair of equipment is prohibited.

7. Damage, Loss, & Liability

  • Customers are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment while in their possession.

  • In case of damage, repair or replacement costs will be charged.

  • Tich Music is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from improper use of equipment.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be communicated in writing.

  • Refunds or deposit returns will follow the schedule in the booking agreement.

  • Short-notice cancellations may incur partial or full charges.

9. Safety & Compliance

  • Equipment must be operated in a safe environment and comply with local safety regulations.

  • Tich Music may refuse service if equipment is requested for unsafe or illegal activities.

10. Agreement & Acceptance

By hiring equipment from Tich Music, the customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by this Equipment Hiring Policy.
